Thank you so much to those of you who came out to my 2020 holiday mini sessions. Truly, you cannot imagine how much it means to me. I have taken time off after having my second child, and it felt so special to come back for my first holiday season in this way. You supporting my business literally puts food on our table, and gifts under the tree for my kiddos, especially in times as hard as this year has been, so thank you!
I hoped to make you feel pampered, fill your day with some Christmas magic and create special memories. I hope I did just that! I know that the day felt magical for me.
I believe in creating an entire experience, so that your time spend with me is fun and relaxing, in addition to also creating images that you will love and treasure for the rest of your life. I aimed to set the mood with Christmas candles, holiday classic tunes, and a bag of cookies for each of you. Did you feel the magic when you walked in?
I also had so much fun working with Peyton from Wild Revival Co. She is the designer who found this venue, and styled everything! She is so kind, and so creative. She made planning the day out a breeze, and she exceeded my expectations! I cannot wait to have her style more of my sessions, and I highly recommend partnering with this local, small business.
Last but not least, it warmed my heart to stage these sessions in the historic kendalia dance halle. I got to meet Frank, who restored this dance halle with his own hands. The original halle was built in 1903, and has a beautiful history you can read about here. Because of the pandemic, their doors have been closed all year, so it truly was an honor to rent the venue for this event.
Without any further mush, here are a few highlights from my holiday sessions! I hope to see you all again next year.
