San Antonio, TX Fall Family Photo Session
Golden hour at Phil Hardberger Park’s Ecology Center is always a dream—and this sweet family session was no exception. Between the soft light, the warm breeze, and a trio of kids at my favorite ages to photograph (a curious toddler and two adoring older sisters), the evening couldn’t have been more perfect.
Their color palette—dusty rose, warm brown, and cream—was timeless. I love this combination because it’s evergreen: beautiful year-round, not too spring, not too holiday, and it looks gorgeous displayed in your home no matter the season.
One of my favorite parts of the session? The little “extras” they brought along. Each child had something special, a favorite stuffie, books, or playful treasures that capture this exact chapter of their lives. I always encourage families to treat their photos as a time capsule—a way to preserve the laughter, the silliness, the hugs, and the tiny details that tell your family’s story right now.
After 15+ years photographing families in San Antonio, TX, I still feel so grateful every time I get to help families freeze these fleeting moments in time. I’m so excited to invite you to join me at the charming Vintage Barn, right off 281 North, for a one-of-a-kind styled back-to-school portrait session.
While I capture your child’s milestone moments in a cozy, vintage setting- styled with timeless props and studio lighting, you can sip on coffee and enjoy a private shopping experience. Browse the barn’s curated treasures, from antique finds to unique, one-of-a-kind pieces you won’t see anywhere else.
These mini sessions are short and sweet, just the right amount of time to keep it fun for kids while still capturing high-quality, timeless images you’ll cherish for years.
